This walk had a little bit of everything.
Started out like a normal morning—blue sky, quiet street, just putting in the steps and heading toward Starbucks.

Somewhere along the way, I picked up a quiet shadow…
I turned around, and there was a big mastiff-type dog just calmly following behind me like we had already agreed to walk together.

No barking. No chaos. Just… there.
Now, I’m not usually afraid of dogs, but I did have that moment of:
okay… that is a LOT of dog.
But he turned out to be the calmest, sweetest dog I’ve ever come across out on a walk.
He drifted into the road, I told him to get out of the street (like I run traffic now), and he actually listened.
So for a minute there, it was just me and my very large, very polite walking partner… until I tracked down his owner about two blocks back.
Apparently, he had also decided he was heading to Starbucks.

☕ Bench Moment
Made it to the bench. Coffee in hand.
Sun hitting just right. Legs feeling it a little. That quiet moment where everything slows down.
This is the part that matters.
Not perfect.
Not fast.
Just… peace.

Not glamorous.
Not relaxing.
Just life.
