I’m a competitive pinball player and an active member of two women’s leagues:

Pinball started as fun, became a passion, and slowly turned into a personal challenge — not just to improve my game, but to see how far I could push myself.

Over the past several years, I’ve qualified for the Arizona State Pinball Championship four years in a row, earning 2nd place in the 2025–2026 season.

🎯 My Next Goals

  • Compete in the Open State Championship
  • Return to Women’s State with the intent of advancing
  • Work toward Nationals and Worlds
  • Return to Pinburgh to compete again
  • Participate in Southern Fried Pinball Tournament, INDISC, YEGPIN, District 82, and other out-of-state pro-circuit events

This blog documents that journey — honestly and in real time.

🕹️ Here You’ll Find

  • League nights, tournaments, and travel stories
  • Training, practice habits, and mental game strategies
  • How wellness and pinball intersect (endurance, focus, anxiety management, hydration, food, and movement during long events)
  • Tournament culture — the tents, the coolers, the potlucks, the camaraderie, and the chaos.
  • Surviving Long Pinball Tournaments
  • Community highlights, charity events, and fundraisers through pinball leagues
  • Resources for players (IFPA rankings, Match Play tournaments, PinMap locations, streams, and tools I actually use — yes, including PAPA).

Pinball has taught me patience, emotional regulation, resilience, and how to lose — and win — with grace. I hope. ;^)

It’s also shown me how powerful community can be when competition and kindness coexist. Whether you’re brand new to pinball, league-curious, or deep into tournament life, this space is about learning, growth, and loving the process — not just chasing rankings. No gatekeeping. No ego. Just silverballs, stories, and showing up again and again.

Walk 4 of 5 — Week of September 13: Nostalgia and Great Music

Sometimes a walk turns into a little trip down memory lane. Today was Walk 4 of 5 for the week, and apparently my soundtrack decided we were going to take the scenic route through several decades of my life. I headed out this morning with my coffee tumbler, my ridiculous Medusa shirt, my cassette tape…
