Good morning sunshine!

Clear, beautiful sky today…
and a very busy Starbucks.

Drive-thru wrapped.

Cars everywhere.

People waiting.

And me?

Walking right past it. 😄

The sun was bright—
like, instant-tears-trying-to-take-a-selfie bright ☀️😅

But I went anyway.

Saw my regulars again—

Crosswalk Lady was out there getting it in 💪 And she’s not new to me.

We’ve been crossing paths since September 1st…

quietly cheering each other on ever since.

No big conversations.

No big moments.

Just that unspoken—
“I see you. Keep going.”

Because sometimes motivation isn’t loud…
it’s just someone showing up at the same time as you.

Jeffrey is doing better.
Less limping.
Less wincing.
Actually smiling again.
And that felt like a win.

And my Wild West mustache guy?
Today he looked like he walked off the set of M*A*S*H…
full uniform energy—
…but with a camo Lakers hat.
No explanation. Just commitment. 😂

In my ears:
🎧 The History Chicks -🦻take a listen
featuring Suzanne Valadon
Redheaded wild child.
Rooftop climber.
Graffiti in charcoal.
Model turned artist.
Also?
Two cats, a German shepherd, and a goat.
So yeah… she’s part of my clan now. 💛

Coffee earned.

Caught my breath. Kept going.
Walked past the packed drive-thru.

Coffee secured.  Sun Bright.

Made it to my midpoint bench.

Walking home in a cool 68° with that Arizona sunshine…

Cheeto Mesquite < Green bean Mesquite

And the Mesquite Cheeto Trees?

They’ve officially moved on. 😄
No more crunchy orange curls—

now it’s full-on weird green bean phase hanging from the branches.

Same route.
Different details.

Meanwhile… back at home
(live update from Andrew):
Xena — desk bed, fully asleep
Gabby — lap supervisor on duty
Andrew — field reporter

And me?

Still out here walking for the whole team. 😄

Somebody’s gotta represent.

Not perfect.
Not extreme.
Just steady.

A walk.

A story.

A little progress you can actually feel.

📊 Stats (because Fitbit had thoughts):
• 2.73 miles
• 6,127 steps
• 64 zone minutes
• 33+ minutes moving
• Avg HR: 105 bpm
👉 Less strain than earlier this month
👉 Same effort, easier feel

That’s consistency working quietly in the background.

Walk Receipts

Walking is still the best form of transportation.

Still counts. Always did. 💛
