F-14 Tomcat Repair Crew: Now With Cat Supervisors
Andrew is back at it with the F-14 Tomcat.
After getting the mechanical side of the machine cleaned up and repaired, he’s now replacing some of the broken plastic decorations that have been beat up by thousands upon thousands of pinballs.
Because apparently, when you own a pinball machine, everything eventually needs fixing.
And of course, the cats have opinions.
Xena has taken her supervisory responsibilities very seriously, inspecting the work from underneath the King Kong. The other members of the feline maintenance department have also reported for duty.
Mr T. has claimed a dining chair as a workstation.
Monkey has apparently decided the floor is the appropriate place to conduct a quality-control inspection.
And Gabby?
Gabby has discovered the Ryobi power-tool bag.
Naturally.
Because why would a cat sit in a perfectly normal cat bed when there is an empty bag for power tools available? I fits I sits.
Meanwhile, Andrew is actually getting things done, replacing the beat-up plastics and bringing the F-14 Tomcat back toward its former glory.
So the current household division of labor appears to be:
Andrew: Repairs the pinball machine.
Xena: Supervises Andrew.
Everyone else: Supervises the tools.
Gabby: Tests the Ryobi bag.
Cats: Provides absolutely no useful assistance whatsoever.
But they are very cute while doing it. 😂🐈⬛🐾
Pinball repair is a family affair around here. And apparently, there is no such thing as working on a pinball machine without feline quality control.
