North Mountain Brewing League, Week 3 of 6, and tonight’s theme was apparently:
“Start strong, held on, then started to kind of peter out, and then finish by getting absolutely mugged by Rush.” 😂
⚔️ Round 1 — Black Knight: Sword of Rage

2nd place!
Not a bad way to start the night. Silverballs were immediately making their presence known.
🦍 Round 2 — King Kong: Myth of Terror Island

2nd place!
Two rounds in, two second-place finishes.
Okay, Christy. I see you. 👀
🌵 Round 3 — Cactus Canyon: Remake Special

3rd place.
Still collecting points. Still in the fight.
🦖 Round 4 — Jurassic Park

3rd place.
And now we’ve got a very respectable little pattern going:
2nd → 2nd → 3rd → 3rd
🏎️ Round 5 — Rush

And then Rush said:
“LOL. Absolutely not.”
I finished 4th with 5.8 million.
Meanwhile, fourth-place-me was looking at the other side of the game like:
“HOW THE HELL DOES P2 HAVE OVER 300 MILLION?!” 😂
And that brought the evening to:
2nd → 2nd → 3rd → 3rd → 4th
Final league score: 15 points
Nightly standing: 20th of 22
But honestly?
That 20th-place number is lying about how the night felt.
Because this wasn’t five rounds of getting stomped.
It was:
🥈 Black Knight
🥈 King Kong
🥉 Cactus Canyon
🥉 Jurassic Park
💥 Rush ate my lunch
That’s a really solid first four rounds, followed by Rush committing a felony against my score.
And THEN, because apparently five rounds of pinball wasn’t enough activity for one evening, I stayed for another three hours of “golf.” 🤣
Fitbit got:
3 hours • 1,692 steps • 0.77 miles • 408 calories • 87 bpm average HR
So yes, Fitbit.
I played golf.
Inside.
With silver balls.
And flippers.
And buttons.
And absolutely no clubs.
Close enough. 😂

🎶 And the soundtrack…
Because every good pinball recap needs its soundtrack, and this particular evening definitely had one.
NMB Week 3: Party Crasher Edition
Dorothy
Greta Van Fleet
Johnny Cash
Gordon Lightfoot
Glen Miller
Black Keys
Ram Jam
State of Mine
Phil Collins
Paul Simon
Escape Club
Ethan Bortnick
Johnny Lee
In the end it was:
Five rounds.
Five machines.
A whole lot of silverballs.
Some incidental exercise.
Spotify shuffle on mayhem mode.
And one very determined party crasher.
2nd. 2nd. 3rd. 3rd. 4th.
Not the prettiest finish on paper—but the way that night played out?
I’ll take it.
Still counts. Always. 🎰💜
