I slid into A Division!

Pinball Receipts

Going into the final round, I was sitting right on the bubble. After surviving Star Trek: The Next Generation and then drawing Doctor Who against Olivia and Kaydee Helm, I wasn’t exactly feeling confident.

Doctor Who reminded me why Doctor Who and I have a complicated relationship, but I managed to hang on for 3rd place and finished the night with 21 points.

That was enough to move me into 9th place overall and into A Division by a single point.

Then came the plot twist.

Mahina couldn’t make next week’s finals, which meant the next alternate spot came down to me and Shaniya Lee. We ended the season tied exactly, so it all came down to the final standings.

When the dust settled after everyone finished playing, I was 1 point ahead of Shaniya and officially earned my spot in A Division Finals.

Considering I started the night outside the cutoff line, I’ll happily take it.

Not bad for a day that included Jazzercise, resetting five cat dining halls, an Indian buffet, a nearly two-hour nap, and then three hours of pinball.

Incidental Exercise Receipts

Sometimes you don’t have to dominate. Sometimes you just have to keep showing up and stay in the game long enough for the opportunities to appear.

A Division, here I come.

Still counts.
