Tonight’s workout didn’t look much like a workout.
Andrew, Erin, Rob, and I spent the evening at Puttshack playing what I can only describe as nerdy electronic goofy golf.
This isn’t traditional mini golf. Every hole is a different challenge—roulette wheels, giant spinning targets, skee-ball style shots, trivia, Pac-Man-inspired holes, giant drums, and enough lights and technology to make a pinball player feel right at home.

I played two rounds and learned an important lesson:
the first round is reconnaissance.
The second round is where you put that information to work. 😄

Fitbit logged 18 holes as 1 hour and 21 minutes of light activity. What Fitbit didn’t see was all the walking, standing, bending, problem-solving, laughing, and friendly competition that happened along the way.

The best part?
I got to spend the evening with Andrew and my friends Rob and Erin, who signed up for Jazzercise at the same time I did.
Sometimes wellness looks like a walk.
Sometimes it looks like a dance class.
And sometimes it looks like arcade golf chaos with people you enjoy spending time with.
Final verdict:
Nerdy? Yes.
Electronic? Definitely.
Goofy? Absolutely.
Fun? 10/10.
Still counts? You bet it does.
