Today’s walk soundtrack was brought to you by:
“Songs I liked at completely different points in my life”
…and zero coordination.
Started with Gary Clark Jr.,
took a peaceful detour with John Denver,
then immediately got yelled at by Dorothy,
followed by Allie Sherlock,
and somehow ended up with Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald like I had time-traveled.
No transitions.
No emotional warning.
Just vibes… aggressively shuffled.
I’m pretty sure the Gershwin brothers would have some thoughts.
Made it to Starbucks…
and immediately entered Boss Battle: Cup Lid
Would. Not. Open.
Walked a lap. Tried again.
Walked another lap like, “maybe this time??”
Nope.
Full-on pickle jar moment.
Finally went inside and found two guys with strong “we open things in this household” energy 😆
One of them saved the day.
And yes—
I absolutely went full 🫒 “my hero” like Olive Oyl.
He giggled.😆
Meanwhile, a woman waiting for her coffee told me she loved my alien earrings 👽✨
(which is fair, because when the sun hits them they throw tiny rainbow aliens everywhere)

Walk there.
It still counts.
Walk Receipts

Coffee earned (eventually).
Walk back? See Part 2.
Not perfect.
A little chaotic.
Still counts. Always.
