Today’s walk theme: Recycle Bin Slalom Edition
The neighborhood obstacle course was fully activated this morning.
Recycle bins everywhere = bonus agility training.
Still counts.
Highlights from today’s route:
• 3 Great Danes spotted right after leaving the house
• USPS Jeep lady sighting 👋
• Construction pause mystery – signs down, fresh asphalt stripes across all 3 crossing directions
• Shamrock milk truck blocking traffic on the way back
• Bench writing session ✔️
• Sun = VERY sunny ☀️ definitely felt the heat on the return trip

Coffee experiment of the day:
Toasted Coconut Protein Cold Brew
Trying alternate protein sources because the egg bites were losing their magic.
Verdict: Pretty tasty 👍
Not quite as magical as yesterday’s toasted coconut sweet cream situation… but still counts.
Some days the walk feels smooth.
Some days it feels like a real-life video game — dodge the recycle bins, construction zones, delivery trucks, and heat waves.
Still counts.
Walk Receipts

Either way:
Steps happened.
Momentum happened.
Story happened.
Still counts.
