Today was a true classics grind at Electric Bat.

4 strike knockout format = survive and advance.
Older machines = patience, accuracy, and emotional control.

I made it 7 rounds today — a solid run in a deep classics field.

Pinball Receipts

A little off my normal rhythm — I haven’t had as much recent practice on some of the classics in the lineup, and I tweaked my ankle on my walk this morning which added a small distraction.

Still, I hit all my skill shots on Joker Poker (small win!) and learned a lot about which machines I want more reps on.

Joker Poker usually lands in the 225k–300k range for me; today was 145k — not far off, but enough to feel the difference in timing and bank completion.

Andrew made a deep run into Round 10, including a 29-minute Joker Poker battle that tested everyone’s endurance.

These events are sneaky endurance challenges:

  • hours standing
  • constant focus
  • adapting to different machines
  • managing nerves
  • supporting each other

Also logged:
11k steps today
8500 from the walk alone
Fitbit thinks pinball is golf 😄

Incidental Exercise Receipts

Big respect to the strong women’s showing today — seeing multiple women make solid runs helps keep women’s competitive pinball strong in Arizona.

Mahina took it all the way to 3rd Place!! You go!!

These are my people, and I want all of us to succeed.
