I’ve tried a lot over the years

  • Supplements
  • Probiotics
  • Programs
  • “Magic” clothes

Some of it didn’t help at all

Some of it helped a little… just not in the way it was advertised

Some of it—like Noom—actually did help

Not in a magic way

But in a “learn how to think differently” way

• It helped me make peace with food
• It helped me understand portions
• It gave me structure when I needed it

But it wasn’t perfect

– The food tracking was clunky
– The exercise side didn’t really match real life (still no pinball 🎯)
– And after a while… I outgrew it.

Once I worked through the lessons,
it didn’t have the same pull anymore

And that’s when something else started to click

☕ This is where it really started for me →

Starbucks Carrot Method
Walk there → coffee → walk back

🎯 Incidental exercise
Groceries
Errands
Cooking
Moving through my real life

That’s what stuck

Not a program

Not a product

A system that fits my real day

Some things help you start

But you still have to build

what works for you.

Not perfect.

Just consistent.

Still counts 💜🎯

Weekly Reads

shorter weekly posts including: Monday Pinball Shower Thoughts,  Whisker Wednesday,  Foodie Friday,  and Steps for Sips (my weekend coffee walk series, since after my 5 day a week walks, I still don’t want to drive to starbucks on Saturday and Sunday,  because I feel weird if I don’t walk and Starbucks is always packed.
