Caution: walker on a mission pre-caffeine!
Some walks feel like exercise.
Some walks feel like a parade.
Today was definitely parade energy.

Bright prickly pear fruit showing off like nature’s confetti 🌵
Seasonal Peeps energy everywhere 🐰
Coffee motivation fully operational ☕
The neighborhood had layers today:
- Tacos & Tequila brunch crowd already in full swing (Thursday morning enthusiasm is real)
- Gold’s Gym pre- and post-workout faces – headed for sushi
- Engineering team lunch discussing the structural integrity of “shants” while entering Smashburger.
- USPS Jeep lady sighting — confirming the Wild West Mustache Guy storyline continues
- Bottlebrush tree owner shoveling red floof like snow removal duty 🌺
People-watching level: excellent.
Nature Appreciation Break 🌿
The eucalyptus tree was glowing in the sun again — smooth pale bark almost translucent, like mother-of-pearl.
It smells incredible.
Tallest tree on the route besides the palms, and easily the most calming pause point.
Reminder: sometimes progress looks like miles walked sometimes progress looks like noticing beautiful things while you walk.
Both count.
