November 2, 2026 | Five Rounds of Pinball Shenanigans
It’s Monday night, which means it’s time for another round of EPIC Women’s Pinball League at The OutpostArcade!
Five rounds tonight, five different machines, and apparently the machines got together beforehand and decided to make things interesting.
Let’s get into it!
ROUND 1 – Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye

Players: Christy Kohtz, Krisha Shufran, Kelly Mohs, Jessica Canaday
We kicked things off with Transformers.
Ball 1 was a little rough. My score was 3.9 million. No skill shot, one left ramp, dropped the drop targets, got one in the scoop in the back, and then experienced plenty of pinball shenanigans. Bounced off something and straight down the middle. Because, of course.
Ball 2 was much better! Finished at 46.7 million with two different modes, one ball lock, and lots of good shots.
Ball 3 brought multiball and a final score of 71.2 million.
Final results:
– 1st – Krisha Shufran: 180.2M
– 2nd – Kelly Mohs: 114.5M
– 3rd – Christy Kohtz: 71.2M
– 4th – Jessica Canaday: 36.1M
A respectable start to the evening. Transformers was willing to cooperate, at least somewhat!
ROUND 2 – Transporter the Rescue

Players: Dante Fishell, Elena Valenzuela, Lissa Swazey, Christy Kohtz
Now this one was fun!
Ball 1: I somehow managed to get to 2.3 million while collecting multipliers, locking two balls, and getting multiball going. Kept that ball alive for a while!
Ball 2: 3.1 million. More multipliers, a weird green blinky thing worth a whole bunch of points, and one toilet bowl shot.

I have no idea what that green blinky thing was, but I’m not complaining!
Ball 3: Finished at 3.78 million.
Final results:
– 1st – Christy Kohtz: 3,789,470
– 2nd – Elena Valenzuela: 1,709,120
– 3rd – Lissa Swazey: 1,323,170
– 4th – Dante Fishell: 411,060
FIRST PLACE!
I’ll take that one. Thank you very much, Transporter!
ROUND 3 – Godzilla (Premium/LE)

Players: Patrick Swayze, Christy Kohtz, Kaydee Helm, Valerie Doucette
Oh, Godzilla. You mean, mean machine.
I tried for the long skill shot worth all those lovely points THREE TIMES.
And THREE TIMES Godzilla said, “Nope! Here’s your itty-bitty tiny skill shot instead.”
Ball 1: A little skill shot, lots of vanilla wallops, no ramps, and plenty of shenanigans. Finished at 3 million.
Ball 2: Finally got both ramps, two building hits, and then out. Finished at 7.9 million.
Ball 3: Got a little skill shot, made the scoop, started Ebra mode, and got lots of spinners before draining. Finished at 41.3 million.
And the ramps? Oh, the ramps.
You’d send the ball up, it would make it halfway, and then shoot right back down. Meanwhile, the machine kept sending the ball backwards through the building and right back at you at approximately Mach 10.
It was a HOT MESS.
None of us played particularly well, but Valerie managed to pull it together and take the win.
Final results:
– 1st – Valerie Doucette: 87.0M
– 2nd – Christy Kohtz: 41.4M
– 3rd – Kaydee Helm: 30.2M
– 4th – Patrick Swayze: 19.2M
Second place! I’ll take it, even if Godzilla and I need to have a little conversation about our relationship.
ROUND 4 – Motordome

Players: Jess Cota-Forsee, Christy Kohtz, Elaine Hecht, Madison Barnes
Ugh. Motordome.
I absolutely hate this game.
I cannot figure it out. One minute you’re playing and drain with 500K. The next time you play forever and somehow only have 200K.
And technically, I got THREE HOUSE BALLS.
Apparently, Player 1’s balls bounced off more stuff than mine did before draining. That’s the only explanation I have. 😂
My scores:
– Ball 1: 97.6K
– Ball 2: 206.7K
– Ball 3: 318.3K
I did get a skill shot on Balls 2 and 3, but that was about the extent of my success.
Final results:
– 1st – Jess Cota-Forsee: 705,610
– 2nd – Elaine Hecht: 501,270
– 3rd – Madison Barnes: 422,710
– 4th – Christy Kohtz: 318,320
Not my finest performance. Some games just aren’t your friends. Motordome and I are definitely not friends.
ROUND 5 – World Cup Soccer

Players: Tina Buhrman, Layla Lawrence, Christy Kohtz, Shaniya Lee
Last game of the night!
And this one started out with a goalie who apparently had something personal against me.
Ball 1: 13.4 million. Got the skill shot, had some shenanigans, got a ball save, and tried half a ramp. The goalie said NOPE. Out.
Ball 2: 66.3 million. Got the scoop twice and hit that goalie over and over and over.
ZERO GOALS.
AHHHHH!
Ball 3: FINALLY!
Multiball! Approximately FIVE GOALS! The goalie finally decided to cooperate, and I finished with 181.9 million.
Now THAT’S more like it!
Final results:
– 1st – Layla Lawrence: 628.1M
– 2nd – Shaniya Lee: 221.4M
– 3rd – Christy Kohtz: 181.9M
– 4th – Tina Buhrman: 71.8M
A third-place finish to close out the evening!
Apparently, all I needed was five goals and a little encouragement from multiball.
TONIGHT’S LEAGUE RESULTS
Five rounds, five machines, and the following finishes:
Machine| My finish
Transformers| 3rd
Transporter the Rescue| 1st
Godzilla| 2nd
Motordome| 4th
World Cup Soccer| 3rd
Final league standings:
I finished tied for 9th place with 19 points!
Three players shared that position:
– Christy Kohtz
– Shaniya Lee
– Elena Valenzuela
The top of the leaderboard:
– 1st – Hailey Buhrman: 33 points
– 2nd – Terri Boyd: 31 points
– 3rd – Krisha Shufran: 30 points
THE BIGGER PICTURE
We’re also two tournaments into the six-tournament EPIC Women’s League season.
My season numbers:
– week #1: 85
– week #2: 91
That’s a six-point improvement!
Four weeks remain, and there’s still plenty of pinball to play.
FINAL THOUGHTS

Tonight was a little bit of everything.
A first-place finish on Transporter, second on Godzilla despite that machine’s best efforts to ruin my evening, a third on World Cup Soccer after the goalie finally got its act together, and a fourth on a machine I would happily never see again.
That’s pinball.
Sometimes you get multiball and five goals. Sometimes you get three house balls. Sometimes the machine sends your ball back at you like it’s trying to collect a debt.
But you show up, you play, you laugh, and you do it all again next week.
Movement in real life counts. Pinball shenanigans count, too.
