Tuesday morning. Jazzercise #42 is officially in the books! 🎉
Today was Robyn’s low-impact class, and let me just say: LOW IMPACT DOES NOT MEAN LOW EFFORT. 😂
I showed up with my coffee, my new Girl Power shirt, and a readiness score of 55 after a shorter night of sleep. The plan was to take things a little easier and listen to my body.
And that’s exactly what I did.
I completed the full cardio portion AND the full strength set, using my 5-pound weights. My right shoulder was giving me a little attitude on certain angles, so I modified and gingered it when necessary. At one point, apparently I looked like I had one wing doing something dumb, because Angie noticed and checked to make sure I was okay. ❤️
I told her I was fine—the shoulder was just being cranky on certain movements—so I adjusted accordingly.
And honestly, it’s really nice having people who notice. 🥰
Then Fitbit had the Jazzercise Receipts:

⏱️ 1 hour 15 minutes
🔥 445 calories burned
❤️ 112 BPM average heart rate
💙 30 minutes light
💚 21 minutes moderate
💛 24 minutes vigorous
🔴 0 minutes peak
🎯 69 active zone minutes — GOAL COMPLETED!
So much for “low impact.” 😂
I never hit peak, but I spent 45 minutes in moderate and vigorous zones, which is a pretty darn solid workout—especially considering I started the morning with a readiness score of 55 and a slightly cranky shoulder.
And then came the best part.
Instead of immediately doing my usual sweaty Betty photo, I got completely distracted after class because a bunch of us were standing around yapping, showing each other cat photos, and generally being ridiculous. 🐈😂
I completely forgot I still had my Fitbit running!
By the time I remembered the after-workout picture, I’d already dried off and looked perfectly normal again. So no sweaty Betty today. 🤣
But you know what? That’s okay. Sometimes the post-Jazzercise social hour is part of the workout experience.
So #42 is done. 💃
Full cardio.
Full strength.
Five-pound weights.
Shoulder modified appropriately.
69 active-zone minutes.
And a whole bunch of laughs afterward.
Low impact is not for the weak.
Now it’s time to head home and tackle the next athletic event of the day:
🐈 THE FULL CAT CIRCUIT.
Feeders need replenishing.✔️
Cat dining halls need cleaning.✔️
Fountains need washing and new filters.✔️
Litter boxes need changing and refilling.✔️
Because apparently I don’t have enough cardio in my life. 😂

But once that’s all done, the cats will be fully provisioned and the house will be ready for my upcoming trip.
Jazzercise #42: COMPLETE. ✅
Cat infrastructure: NEXT. 🐈⬛💪
Still counts. Always!💜
