Today was CRAZY FUN! The class was packed, fast-paced, and we were moving pretty much everywhere. We twisted, danced, bounced, and laughed our way through a seriously fun oldies playlist.

I got to dance to Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild,” an entire Beach Boys montage, and even “Play That Funky Music”—a cover version, but close enough! 😂🎶

And apparently, my Fitbit agreed that we were getting after it:

🔥 75 minutes of recorded activity
🔥 479 calories burned
🔥 116 bpm average heart rate
🔥 76 active zone minutes
🔥 28 minutes in the moderate zone
🔥 26 minutes in the vigorous zone
🔥 21 minutes in the light zone
🔥 0 minutes in peak

And I can’t leave out the strength work! I did the entire 30-minute strength session with my 5-pound weights and held my own just fine. 💪 And even better, the whole crew decided to cooperate today—feet, knees, ankles, shoulders, arms… everybody was behaving themselves! 😂
I’ll take that as another win. ❤️

That means 54 minutes were spent in moderate-to-vigorous zones. That’s a whole lot of dancing!

And yes… the evidence is visible. 😂💦

I don’t think I’ve ever had the sweat section of my shirt extend quite that far down. I walked out of there absolutely sweating like a Looney Tune, but grinning from ear to ear.

This was one of those workouts where you finish and think:

“Holy crap, that was FUN!” ❤️

Jazzercise #41: DONE.
Dancing to the oldies with Darlene, burning nearly 500 calories, and having an absolute blast while doing it. 💃🔥🎶

Apparently I came for the dancing and stayed for the sweat bath.

Still counts.  Always! 😂💗
