Today’s instructor was Lauren, and she was amazing. Since we’re about the same height, it’s easier for me to follow her movements, which makes a bigger difference than people might think.
We focused a lot on thighs, arms, and abs. There wasn’t as much cardio as I usually like, but it was still a fun, challenging workout. Lauren definitely kept us working!
One of the highlights was seeing my friend Angie (she rocks the pony). We always seem to feed off each other’s energy, which makes class even more enjoyable.
And of course, I caught up with the cat lady with the fabulous purple, turquoise, and blue hair. We ended up bonding over our cats again—because that’s what cat people do. 😸
What I appreciate most about this studio is the people. Everyone is so kind, encouraging, and genuinely fun to be around. It makes showing up for class something I look forward to, not something I have to force myself to do.
As a fun surprise, I came home with a new Phoenix Jazzercise sticker for my car. It’s a small souvenir, but it makes me smile every time I see it.
