I walked in expecting another dance-focused Jazzercise class… and Surprise!πŸ˜‚

It turned out to be Cardio Sculpt HIIT instead.

I made it about 35 minutes before my knees officially filed a complaint with management. πŸ˜†

πŸ‹οΈ Goblet squats with an 8-pound dumbbell

πŸ’ͺ Upper-body work with two 5-pound dumbbells

❀️ Averaged 133 bpm

πŸ”₯ Earned 32 Active Zone Minutes

πŸ‘Ÿ Discovered my shoes work better without my Good Feet inserts for all the pivots and side-to-side movements.

I modified every jump into low-impact steps because my knees and ankles appreciate keeping the warranty intact. πŸ˜„

The floor work, planks, and anything involving balancing my entire body on my toes? Yeah… that’s still a hard pass.

The good news?

My heart and lungs were ready to keep going.

My knees were the ones calling it a day.

That’s actually encouraging because it tells me my fitness is improving, even if my knees are still negotiating the terms. 🀝

I also learned something important: regular dance-focused Jazzercise is probably my sweet spot, while HIIT Sculpt is a fun challenge to visit once in a whileβ€”not every class.

Still counts.

πŸ’™ Every workout teaches you something, even if today’s lesson was, “Planks and I are not currently accepting new friendship requests.” πŸ˜…πŸ’ƒπŸ‹οΈ

Still counts. Because showing up, modifying when you need to, and learning what your body can do today… always counts. πŸ’™
