🎯 Sometimes it looks like you know exactly what you’re doing.
I was listening to Jason Zahler talk about playing unfamiliar pinball machines, and something he said really stuck with me.
From the outside, it can look like:
— you have a plan
— you know the shots
— everything is intentional
Commentary might even give you credit for it.
But on the inside?
Sometimes it’s:
“Okay… I think this does something… let’s try it.” 😄
That was me during Women’s State.
Reacting.
Adjusting.
Learning the game in real time.
And honestly… that’s part of it.
Not every game is mastery.
Sometimes it’s awareness + feel + figuring it out ball by ball.
