Coffee walk complete. ☕🚶‍♀️

Round trip: 2.75 miles
Steps: 6,155
Active Zone Minutes: 104

These coffee walks have quietly become part of my daily walking routine for fitness and mental health.

Kids doing the mushroom with a parachute.  Childhood memory that movement is fun unlocked.

It was a lovely, sunny and warm day in North Phoenix.

Today’s walk turned into a full musical.

At one point I realized something that surprised me: I could walk full speed and sing an entire song without running out of breath.

Not that long ago it would have sounded like:

huff… word… puff… word…

Today it was the whole song.

Progress sometimes sneaks up on you like that.

If you had walked past me this morning you would have seen:

• traffic cone earrings
• coffee cup maraca
• occasional dance steps
• backup singer mode fully engaged

Music was on shuffle, which means the choreography was… unpredictable.

Sometimes it’s marching.
Sometimes it’s cha-cha steps.
Sometimes it’s full “mad hatter on a sidewalk” energy.

Walk Receipts

And yes — it still counts.

Movement doesn’t have to look perfect to work. Sometimes the best cardio is just letting the music move you while you walk to coffee.
