Incidental Exercise with Cats and Pinball

Cats are accidental personal trainers

Examples:

  • Gabby beggies → squats
  • cats supervising workouts
  • bending / stretching / chasing toys

If you have cats, you already know.
Sometimes exercise looks like doing squats because Gabby is demanding attention.

Pinball is sneakily active

Includes:

  • walking between machines
  • standing for hours
  • adrenaline raising heart rate
  • dancing while playing

And tournaments where people walk thousands of steps.

The coffee walk

My Starbucks walk is the anchor habit.

But everything else adds to it.

The “still counts” philosophy

Movement doesn’t have to look perfect to matter.

Dancing on a sidewalk.

Walking to coffee.

Playing pinball.

Squatting because a cat asked for attention.

It all still counts.

Some days exercise looks like a workout.
Some days it looks like life.

Still counts.
