Good morning!

This morning was one of those perfect Arizona mornings where the sky is impossibly blue and the air still has a little bite to it.

Midpoint – coffee chill and sun

This walk took me through some familiar neighborhood sights: long desert sidewalks, palm trees leaning toward the sun, and one enormous old tree that looks like it has been standing watch over the street for decades.

Hello, Lionel. Yes, almost home.

Along the way I spotted a yard flag with Lionel Richie saying “HELLO,” which made me laugh out loud in the middle of the sidewalk. Little surprises like that make neighborhood walks more fun.

Home safe

The loop ended back at home where my clovers are starting to wake up again. Every spring they disappear and every fall they come back — a small reminder that some things quietly keep going year after year.

Nothing dramatic. Just showing up and moving.

And that still counts.
