I went with an oldies soundtrack today. Decided Leader of the Pack is actually kind of a sad song. Ended up really enjoying Petula Clark singing about Downtown instead. That sent me reminiscing about the movie To Sir, With Love.
The corn in that yard has been harvested — a quiet seasonal marker.Bottle brush trees and bougainvillea were snowing onto the sidewalks, red fluffs everywhere like plant confetti.
